Take 3 upper division courses in the Writing Program. All courses are excellent preparation for the minor. 105SW and 109ST provide a useful preview of the minor courses that you take Senior Year.

Portfolio Submission, Due October 16.
The portfolio demonstrates your interests and qualifications. Choose samples of your writing to showcase your abilities. All genres (video, presentation, academic paper, website) are encouraged. Minor Capstone 1: Science Literacy
With the 25 other students accepted into the Science Communication track, take the first capstone course, "Scientific Literacy." Explore the hows and whys of science communication, including questions like: How can one communicate science through visuals? How do you help combat disinformation related to science? Doug Bradley is your guide.
